Inspection & Free Quote
During Bat Experts thorough inspection process, the entire building is investigated, top to bottom, looking for any potential entry points. We will also carefully look for evidence of bat bugs and determine if contamination from feces is present in the structure and/or insulation.
At the end of our inspection, you will be provided with a detailed quote listing all work required to guarantee bat removal. Your technicial will go over each item on the inspection report and answer any questions you may have.

Our Process
Bats can squeeze their tiny bodies through a hole roughly the size of a dime. Therefore the only sure way to remove bats permanently is to seal every potential point of entry. Home remedies such as radios, lights, and mothballs will not make them move out of the building. Bats are also a protected species. They are essential to our ecosystem and therefore you cannot harm or kill them. Sticky pads will cause the bat to get stuck and die and any professional pest removal service would not use this method.
We begin by expertly sealing all access points and construction gaps. Next, an escape tube is placed at the primary entry point which acts as a one way door - allowing the bats to go out at night to eat but does not permit them back in. The escape tube is left in place until we verify all bats have left.
Once all bats have been excluded from the building, we remove the escape tube, seal the area, and begin the decontamination process.
Clean Up
Bats living in colonies congregate together, resulting in large piles of urine and bat guano. This should be cleaned by a trained professional using personal safety equipment and respirators. The larger the colony, the more waste produced and this can seep through insulation and drywall and begin to drip into living areas. Bat Experts has invested in state-of-the-art equipment with specialized filters to insure complete and safe removal of all contamination.
Decontamination may also include removal of contaminated insulation. Bat Experts also provides optional insulation services to replace contaminated insulation and to increase energy efficiency.
If bat bugs (the tiny mite carried on a bat's body which is identical similar to bed bugs) were found during inspection, a professional aerial insecticide will be used to exterminate them.
